Thanks for the replies guys. I think you guys are right. It's only vinyl. It'll come off, so might as well let him give it a shot. At least I won't have to be heartbroken if it doesn't pan out. Lol

Steel_Pony, thanks a lot for the advice. I'll have to try the claybar. Maybe it can get the yellow speckling off the front bumper. Is the white car yours? It looks great.

And Mongoose, how are the repairs on your car coming?

I really like the new hood and love the SHR louvers!! I've been wanting those for mine for a while now.

Stripe or no stripe your car will look great, the question is if you stripe it; what color?

Btw, congrats on the new ride!!

Thanks, vb. It was between matte black and gloss, but since my wheels are gloss I got them to match.

On the louvers, you do have to trim a little bit of the interior to make them fit, but you can't tell when they're installed.

Thanks!
It's the wife's car...she absolutely loves the stripes too!
I guess it all depends on the look and color.

Either way, you have a rockin ride! LOVE the looks of that hood, makes me wish i'd bought that vs. the roush scoop, but i was after a more vintage/retro GT350 look

Sweet, sounds like you'll have it back soon. Do any upgrades?

Steel_Pony, ha I was going to do the Roush scoop until my car got hail damage. It was going to be $1,000 to fix the stock hood, so it was just easier to change.

I don't have a problem with the stripes, I think it's more the color Per se.

IMO Silver stripes without a doubt look the best on white cars. It really pops in person. If you ever saw the Shelby GT's with this combo, its pretty awesome.
