Question Trany Service???

So I just got a 2006 GT and found out about the sealed tranny. She has 95K on her and I am going to drive her every day. So getting the trany serviced is a good idea as I do not know her history.

I want to have the filter changed as well and the shop wants $280.00 for this service. Is this right? I trust my shop but is this something a fair old school wrench turner like me can do? I saw a video of a tech using what looked like a valve stem to screw into the bottom of the pan and put a hose up through the engine bay and fill it that way?

Anyone done this?

Thanks...

Sorry this doesn't help answer your question but.... What is that front grille/pillar looking thing there? Never seen that before.

That hood and headlight combo looks awesome! Sorry were not talking about your tranny haha

I'm not exactly sure in the auto trannys in these cars.. But I've heard they are expensive to service. 280.00 may be correct.

Get off the Hoodshake. We all know the 05-09 cars have it. Your beloved 2010 still has it, but its much harder to see from inside the car.
