Arrow Cost of GT500 front end conversion and rear bumper?????? Worth doing?? Photos??????

Hi guys what's the cost and the parts? Do you guys feel it's worth doing? I know on the 2005-2009 the look changed a lot.

Seems like the 2014s the gt500 looks must closer to the GT??

How about the rear bumper???? Cost and look?

I would love to see photos as well.

Thanks for all the help.

GT500 front looks good but can be pricy... more parts to replace than just the bumper. Rear is a simple swap (get the cali special bumper and paint like the GT500)

Ya I have done it on my 2007. I did not know if the price is just as high on the 2014?

It changes the look a lot on the 2005-2009. I did not know if it changes the look just as much on the 2014s?

On the '14s with the rear bumper you change the valence and get quad exhaust. American Muscle has a kit for around $800.

With the front bumper, idk if it's worth it. You get the larger lower fog lights and wider grille openings. It looks great, but imo, it isn't a drastic difference.

The 2010+ GT500 front end looks almost identical to the '13-'14 front ends. The fogs have been relocated to the lower valence, along with a wider happier-looking lower front grille. I personally wouldn't do this swap, but I'd consider a grille swap at least: http://www.americanmuscle.com/cdc-pe...ille-2013.html

The rear would only make sense if you were to go with the GT500 quad exhaust since it's just a lower valence swap. This I would do if I got take-off GT500 axle backs. Rear valence can be found here: http://www.americanmuscle.com/gt500-...ance-2013.html

So you can put the new open grille on a 2010 gt500 without changing anything?

The front:

2005-2012 requires a complete front clip swap (2010-12 do NOT require new headlights, but 05-09 might).

2010-2012 requires a hood swap (I'm not sure it the 05-09 requires a different hood, unless you want the Shelby hood anyway)

As far as the 13-14 is concerned, why bother, they look almost identical anyway.

The rear on all cars is just the bumper cover and lower fascia as far as I know.

Im doing a 09 Shelby GT500 conversion to 13/14 Shelby GT500 conversion. Its very pricey but I want the updated look without spending the extra $30,000 to get a 13 GT500.

Has anyone done a build thread for the conversion here yet?
