You might have to pull it and put lube on it by hand.

Your efforts to isolate the problem area are much appreciated...I had the same exact problem, but had my performance shop take care of it and never really followed up w/ exactly what caused the chirping...now I know what could have caused it.

I agree...this sounds like the only way to do it right.

I would recommend dropping the control arms down, lubing everything with synthetic bearing grease, then bolting them back up!

ok so i rarely do any work under the car. Jack stands will run me maybe $60, but do I need to invest in a floor jack or can I get away with the factory scissor jack to prop up the rear temporarily? autozone doesn't seem to have any floor jacks less than $250 or so.

You can use the scissor jack, but it's tedious and won't go as high.

i am able to borrow someones floor jack and jack stands. Think I am going to completely replace the rear LCAs. Probably the BMR LCAs with poly bushings from AM. Two quick questions:

1. Where exactly o I use the floor jack, and the jack stands? This will be my first time doing this, so pictures would be appreciated.

2. Suggestions on lube for the LCAs? i don't think BMRs comes with any.

I've got blue loctite I will use with the existing bolts and nuts.

alright, welp I went ahead and installed the rear BMR LCAs. So glad I did! The squeaky LCA was in bad shape. Here are some pics with commentary...

Didn't get any responses on my lifting/jacking question. Ended up putting the floor jack in a spot in front of the LCAs. Not sure if this is the recommended spot:

I put the jacks under the axle, despite threads claiming these are press fit and could get messed up, but I didn't know of any other options. I definitely put the jacks too close to the wheels the first time, which didn't give my tool enough room to remove the LCA bolt.

And here is the rear right LCA that seemed to be the source of the squeaking. Look at the debris that rubbed off.

The bushing seemed to be pushed thru more than the other, but not sure if that is normal.

Lastly, the mounting location for the squeaky LCA now has a raised edge or burr where the old bushing contacted. The new BMR bushings have a larger diameter, so this raised edge is likely digging into the face of the bushing. Hopefully that is ok. I didn't have a way to file it.

The floor jack I used had a very tiny release ****. Holy cow, releasing the jack was scary. Breaking the small amount of torque on that **** with my fingers was tough. It would release and then start to lower too fast for comfort! Why can't they just have a bigger **** with more control?

One last thing. Make sure to lift the car as high as you're comfortable. I barely had enough room for my ratcheting torque wrench to apply the 129 ft-lbs on the bolts. It didn't have enough angle to ratchet/click. Shorter handle might have helped, but also reduced leverage. The whole thing took longer than I would have liked, but glad with the results. Much more confident with my takeoffs now!

... Of course just when I finished is when a stranger came by and offered to help... figures.

No complaints so far. I didn't have a wheel hop problem or anything before, I don't think. Going cruising to the beach this weekend, so will get a better feel for the car then.
