Default SR lowering springs question

I ordered my SR springs today (there on back order for 2 weeks booooo) but I was curious everyone thats running lowering springs did you need a panhard bar? I talked to the Rep at americanmuscle.com and he said most people didnt need it....he seemed really honest with me about it. Just seeing what kinda set up yall were running...

I didn't need the panhard bar when I installed my lowering springs, UCA and LCA's. I did, however order one later, just to firm things up a bit more in the rear.

My '11 needed a adj PHB when I lowered it as the rear end end pushed out to the drivers side. Most S197 owners that I have talked to said the same thing happened to them and they needed a adj. PHB to recenter the rear end.

OP,

Sorry about the delay! We're working with SR to get these back in stock as quickly as possible! We'll be as straight forwards as possible and depending on your needs and what you're doing with the car if we don't think you're going to need it we'll be upfront. I would however personally recommend doing so in order to keep your axle in line as well to aid in better traction/performance. I've run J&M's Adjustable Panhard Bar on my car for sometime and it was night and day. I like to track my car when I have the time to do so and the additional traction really made me that more confident on and off the street. It's definitely a must in my opinion.

For anyone else reading this thread, "need" is relative... but if you lower a 2005+ Mustang, the rear axle WILL be offset to one side unless you install an adjustable panhard bar.
