The axlebacks are a matter of preference but be aware that you'll gain NO, zero, nada performance, only exhaust note improvement no matter which axleback you choose. The stock exhaust flows very well; one of the things Ford did right on these S197's.

Since about 80% of the power gain from a tune & CAI combo is from the tune, be sure to buy your tunes from a reputable source. Bama and Brenspeed are 2 of the premier tune writers. The CAI is a matter of what you like based on looks, quality and cost since they all perform equivalently with good tunes.

Agreed, either Brenspeed or bama. I typically go to Brenspeed for all my performance stuff and american muscle for all my visual and accessories. And as nuke said, axel backs won't do anything performance wise. However they do make a huge difference in sound and just pure enjoyment!!

My vote is stay away from AmericanMuscle.com - not good. They fouled every order I made. Best prices and selection is JEGS.com, CJPONYPARTS.com and LATEMODELRESTORATION.com

AmericanMuscle.com is a joke. Welcome.

Steeda makes a great CAI. Don't know about their tunes...but I trust them. I currently run a Hypermotive tune...those guys know how to tune the newer 5.0's. Couldn't tell you if they tune the 4.6.

I have also had Brenspeed and Bama. Bama is ok...but Brent at Brenspeed knows how to tune the 4.6's.

Congratulations! Post up some pictures of the new car. We'd love to check it out! It sounds like you already have some good plans for the car. You'll love the Flowmaster Outlaw exhaust!

There's a lot of great options out there when it comes to tuning. We'd be glad to help you out with a Bama tune! Feel free to give them a call if you have any questions at all. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

I'm sorry to hear you feel this way. It's clear that we've done you wrong.. I do apologize for any stress that we may have caused you. I'd like to make things right with you!

Can you please shoot me a PM with your order number included? I'll look further into this and make sure you were taken care of. Sometimes mistakes will happen and it's possible that it could have been damaged in transit! Either way, I'll make sure you're compensated for the previous orders.

If you don't wish to PM me, I completely understand.. Just know that I will take care of this!
