Thanks. I didnt think I would like them as much as I do. Got a deal on them months ago as new never installed in original box. Much cheaper than new

This is going to be...... AWESOME! Can't wait to see it.

PS Do your quarter panel windows actually pop open? It looks as if the drivers side one is open in the sig.

Naw, since the core support wasn't on yet I didn't want to mess up the hood blanket resting on the engine n tear or poke any holes etc. Besides you may notice something if it was down

Oh and that distortion / black mark on the ac condenser is actually deformities from the horn the way its mounted from Ford. The horn was removed and being relocated

One of my favorite things to see amidst a build, progress. Love it.

Has this been done before?

I swear another s197 person did this before, and I was trying to find pics on Google, but couldn't. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Yes ...Phantasm did a similar swap last year...albeit a lot more interesting. He swapped the 4.6L motor out of his with a 5.0L then proceeded to swap the front clip in a hybrid fashion that melded the two fender types together. It came out wicked cool.

here's the thread for that...
