i understand your dedication here ..but your ruining a future classic imho...i would never ever buy a car like this..
if you got tons of cash to throw away then why not? but if like me every penny has to be worked hard for then throwing money away like this is a big no no..

Thanks and I appreciate your conveying it with coolness. I know Ill get haters but I got lots of hate for my bags years ago but now its a very popular mod.

Plus, the GT500's (07-10) arent holding any value at all. They are worth somewhere in teh uppoer 28G's and not much more than GT's. I want to enjoy my stangs and its never going to be profitable so I have absolutely no issues cutting it up to mod as I want

Oh I'll have to warn you that this is nothing as compared to the biggest major mod coming down the road on this lol

Definitely not a future classic. Like so many (including the owner) have said, there's just too many of them for them to be worth anything. They'll continue to depreciate just like the rest of the cars on the road.

Kudos to you for having the ***** to do this kind of work. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Any pics coming of the work on the Fenders? Are you going with the 2011+ fenders or morphing the old into the new? How much of the older fender pop out were you planning on keeping????

Officially the very first S197 to lay frame and its a Shelby too!
We need a pic of the axle coming up through the floor. I always loved the negative camber on the front of my 99 ford ranger when it was aired out. I had no concerns about taking a sawzall to the frame of that truck, but this, i couldn't do it.

Ya know Cobra Drifter.....if ya already took out the inner fender wells for the rear to slam it that low...You don't have much more work to make a functional and flush side scoop for additional brake cooling. Just like the concept version you shared the image for.
