K&N vs JLT - CAI
So I've decided I'm going to buy a tuner and a CAI at the same time. These will be my first mods to my car...and I was set on K&N for the longest time until last night I was reading a lot of good things about JLT cold air intakes. So now I'm up in the air about which one to go with.
Does anyone have any facts or proof that JLT is "better" or provides a little bit more HP?

I have the K&N and honestly, I am not very fond of it... However, it was on the car when I bought it 7 months ago.
I would say your best bet will be to go with JLT. Lots of great reviews and it seems to be one of the most popular and with the most consistent gains.

K&N are no longer at the top of the performance chain for many performance cars these days. For Mustangs especially, there are far better CAI choices including C&L, JLT, Steeda, and Airaide. Even the FRPP Bullitt style is superior to the K&N.

Thank you guys for the responses, yeah now I'm setting my eyes on the JLT haha. I guess it was since K&N was top of the line for a long time is why I was going with that but I glad I discovered JLT before I purchased anything

I bought a K&N CAI for my old mustang (2001). I wasn't very happy with the fitment. The ducting to the throttle body wasn't perfect. It came off slightly crooked than it was supposed to. The OCD in me just frowned every time opening my hood.
Would that be an issue on every car? Doubt it, but it bothered the $%^& out of me
