I bought the Lisle spark plug remover tool but the whole plug is in there. Just the threaded part came off the plug. Is there a different tool that can grab ahold of the plug and I can pull it out?

Please don't take this the wrong way cause I mean no offense.. But did you not read the thousands of dreadful stories of these plugs breaking.. It takes a LOT of patience or the early s197's for these plugs to come out in one piece. Next time you will know on the 2 piece autolites. To answer yor question the listle tool kit includes all the tools needed to remove all the way these plugs break.

@ drewsky....yes I read all the stories about these plugs which means i did all the stuff you are suppose to do before hand. No one ever showed a pic of a "broken" plug before or showed how to get said plug out. Everyone just says buy the tool. Well the tool comes with zero instructions. I watched a you tube video with someone using the tool but it was on a plug that was really broken, like the porcelain part of the plug was broke off. So how do I break off the porcelain part of the plug? I can barely get a pair of needle nose pliers down the hole. Thanks for any help that anyone can provide.

if it were me, i'd put something down the hole beside the plug to use as a lever to break the porcelain. maybe a wooden dowel from home depot. anything that will fit tighten between the wall and plug should break it.
Being the stubborn sob that I am, i'd probably first buy a pair of really long vise grips.
