side scoops?

....While we are talking about aesthetics, do most of you guys tint your tail lights or leave them as is? sometimes I feel like they look 'too red', but at night time I feel they look 'perfect' lol.
I got a louvered deck lid panel and sequential tail light harness, and trying to decide if I like it better stock or smoked. I know lotta people going gen5 tails, but 400$ for tail lights is not worth it to me.
BTW I hear that shaker system DOES help reduce heat, so it IS functional

Toss up on the tails.... I went with 2013/14 tails to replace my 2011/12 tails. Simply because they look like they belong whereas the 2011/12 ones looked like they were an afterthought...the 2011/12's don't follow the concave shape of the decklid and pop out 3D style. I get that it was done to break up the 2 dimensional look of the 2005-09's...but, It just looked out of place. I also considered blacking them out, but the Inspection stations around me are cracking down on treatments like that and failing cars for inspections... Not to mention that with the covers you risk other Mustang owners who want them...ripping them off .... so I went the OEM update route.
As for the shaker..I though they had a front venturi that opened up to the snorkel routed to the OEM intake? If that's the case it would function to lower intake temps when moving Even if the front inlet is just always open with a screen mesh to keep the big nasties out.... Not sure how efficient it is at it but I'm sure it's better than the OEM solution alone. And if it allows heat to vent around it when at idle then that helps. The rest is a matter of how you apply it and whether that's the look that works for you. That said...
Enjoy..
