Default transmission/shifter crossthread

So i was installing my new hurst short throw shifter yesterday afternoon and i had the old shifter out and was in the process of bolting the new shifter up. i started with the front connection point. i THOUGHT i had started the bolt right and was just tightening away. a little bit later it got real easy then suddenly theres no pressure. apparently i brok ethe hole that the bolt goes in. SEE PICTURES. any ideas? Feel pretty crappy. such a simply install....

tranny picture is just there to show you where we r. Tranny 2 picture is a close up of our area and the red lines dictate where the thing broke.

Note: the top half of the bolt hole is what broke and is in my hands and is about the size of a quarter just not round

Find someone that can weld it back in place

JB Weld

New/used case or tranny

Either way of repair will require the threads be recut which can be bad for the repair possibly breaking again.
