Transmission
So about a year ago I bought my 07 4.0 with an automatic transmission. Just recently I've been noticing that when I put it in reverse it takes around 4 seconds to actually engage and when it does engage it's more of jump than a regular transition. Any help would be great.

That's the reverse solenoid getting gummed up or worn out. Very common on the 5r55s tranny.
When was the last time the fluid was changed in the tranny? It should be done every 30k. If changing the fluid doesn't fix it you will need to service the solenoid directly.
Drop the pan and remove the four bolts that hold the solenoid in, take it apart, and replace its piston and spring.
