Hey all.

Just bought a 2014 Mustang GT/CS with the Electronics Package (Nav, etc) and Manual transmission. Dealer says it should be here within a few days.

I looked online and read through bits and pieces of the manual, and I'm overall pretty excited about my purchase.

Is there anything in this model year, or anything in general I should watch out for, any recommendations, and any other miscellaneous pointers or tips that would save me in the long run?

Watch out for that coyote motor, she's a wicked beast if you've never driven a high HP car before. LOL.

Follow the manual for service, and have fun with it. These cars are a damn joy to drive! Post pics when you take delivery.

Brand new car and he's worried....must be bad living in the Chinese age, where we assume the item will be replaced in two years!

Enjoy the car...

A few '14 owners here have reported water getting trapped in the body panels. That and sometimes SYNC is a jerk. Other than that, have fun with it!

Welcome and congrats on the purchase. If its brand new, keep an eye on the oil level until the rings seat. I had to add oil during the break in period periodically, and now all is well.

Black with grey stripes. It's the hard top. With so many recalls nowadays it's good to have a leg up on it.
