You'll need to re-clay bar the car when you are ready to wax / polish because your paint has picked up more junk whilst driving now. It's best to use clay bar, polish and wax all in the same day

Well your obviously doing it wrong if thats how you do things. Also if your polishing by hand your basically wasting SOOO much time and energy as it has little to no impact. The only way to properly polish teh paint is by machine and I dont mean those 10" orbital machine. I mean a a DA like a porter Cable 7424, Griots Garage, Flex 3401, Rupes.
I doubt you take it to the level of detailing as i do

i'll go in the garage and spend 1 hour hand polishing one small part..take the front wing..
i do those maybe twice a day in summer...

after every single drive out..even if i only drive to tank it..i will then give it a full wax...i got ocd with this car...it has never seen any rain..it never will either..if i got caught in a rain storm it would take me about a month to sort the underneath out...every nut and bolt underneath is like new...
right now it has a layer of dust on it..befroe winter that dust will be removed and cleaned with wd40..
do u keep every nut and bolt pristine dude?

no good having shiny paint if it looks like shoite underneath

sorry to burst your bubble but doing any polishing by hand other then very small spot work is pretty much 100% useless and wont produce much results at all.
I am sure you think it looks fantastic but if your claying it alot and then just polsihing by hand your paint is going to have swirls all over.
way back in the day I use to think i was super good at cleaning and my paint was great and I did all by hand. Then if you actually get into detailing and get your firs machine you realize how much useless time you wasted doing everything by hand.
Go outside and look at your paint then compare to how it is on my old 2010

I am sure it looks more like this
my 5.0 when I got it. it looks nice when clean and to someone who doesnt know what perfect paint is and how to fix it

dude i am on another planet ...
i have 2 machines...i never use em..do u polish your car more than twice a week?
do u detail it after EVERY single drive out?
do u check underneath at least once a week for dirt spots?
there is not a single swirl in my paint...i would never sleep at night if it had that?
btw my garage floor is cleaner than most peeps house floors..i wont even allow dust there lol

this piccy was taken before over 100 full waxs by hand..

so are my other 4 bikes...my life in summer is non stop for sure

my friend is a proffesional paint sprayer..he sees my car and lol every time he sees it..tbh it's hard work owning this car...if i see a speck of dust i panic incase it's a stone chip..
the car has about 10 tiny chips in the paint..next year i'll get em sorted...having a black car with ocd is not a good idea either...my van is white and that is so easy to keep looking good

This is hilarious. Please keep stretching your dicks and trying to one up each other, I wanna see which one breaks first.
