Default Thinking about doing it

I have been eyeing for an roush exhaust for some time now and even posted a thread in want to buy section. Sponsor UPR Sharad replied saying he has one and wanted to sell it.

After couple days of emailing he agreed to sell it to me and we even set up a time and place. I was every excited but for some reason he did a 180 today and sold it to someone else.

Im pretty pissed actually, this is how people do business nowaday? Anyways this made me think about just buying a new one or if anyone has one they like to sell. Also a question about the exhaust, im seeing alot of mix review about the drone. Is there drone or not?

The Roush is somewhat raspy. IMO get the Corsa Extremes or the Borla. Sucks about losing the sale but that exhaust isnt the best out there IMO.

I looked at and listened to different exhaust set ups for 3-4 months before putting a Roush axle back exhaust on my Boss one year ago. It has the most amazing sound, I absolutely love it. And no drone at all.

I think they sound awesome on a v8 but I can't stand when people run the roush on 6 bangers. Sounds like crap.

Heres a clean set on eBay...

Thanks, i have seen this one but with shipping $50+ and its still currently in bid. Its going to be pretty close to the price of a new set lol.

Im still looking on youtube and try to find other exhausts out there. Im also trying to keep it under $500.

Roush exhaust is tempting, i wish i can hear out all the different sounds in person.

After listening to tons of exhaust and reviews, it leads back to roush again lol.
I think im going to order one this week. But one thing thats holding me back is quite a few people are experiencing crack/leak/rattle in muffler/excessive rust after just few month of using it. Makes me worry

I've had my roush axle backs since December and had no issues! Just don't stick the garden hose in them and you'll be fine lol.

If I could do it again, I probably wouldn't do roush again. Just a little raspy. I love the sound of them above 3k rpm tho, they sound awesome then

I was originally interested in the Borla/FRPP S-Type but the price was a little out of my range. I went Roush instead and and more than glad I did. No drone at all, sounds almost stock at cruising/highway speeds. You won't regret getting these.

I was looking at both Roush and Flowmaster Outlaw. I decided to go with the Outlaws, just because it is what I wanted after looking all over the internet. They do drone when driving on the highway around 2000-2200 RPM, which doesnt bother me and if it did just speed up or slow down. In the end, I'm extremely happy with my purchase, especially after running into someone at a local restaurant with the Roush and him asking what type of exhausts I was running and then hearing his Roush's. Its all about personal preference, because everyone will have their own opinion on why they bought what they did. Good Luck on finding exhausts, it took me nearly three months to narrow it down and pull the trigger on the Outlaws!!
