Default Slipping Clutch?

I haven't had my car out in awhile so I changed the oil today. I drove it up on ramps which took me a couple tries to get up, might have rode the clutch a bit getting up but couldn't smell any kind of burning clutch smell. Changed oil, took my car out for a drive, it drove great, no noticeable difference than it usually is.

I get home and I have a large rolled curb into my driveway, I get my front wheel up and don't have enough speed to get the back up, try to rev it a bit with the clutch partially pressed and the car just kind of dies on me. Start it up, back up a bit and take a little run at the curb and get up.

Now my question is could my clutch be losing some life? I have 8,000 miles on my car and its not like I race it, just drive it "spiritedly" on the street.

I just installed an MGW short throw shifter too, but I don't think that would have anything to do with anything.

Could be in your head.. Clutch should be fine. Take it for another drive, take off in second gear and see if the engine revs and car slightly moves, also try 4th gear at a slow speed like 25-30mph and punch it. If it revs up it could be slipping, if it bogs and barely moves (it should) you should be fine
