Shaker500 radio on a 2005 Mustang

I don't believe that 2005 had the component for Sirius. There is a second receiver that you need in the trunk (on the passenger side as I recall) and the satellite antenna. Ford used the Shaker across several platform so there are options for some cars but not all.
Somewhere in the garage I have the Sirius receiver - no wiring or antenna however.

If you have both of those (button and antenna/module), you have to have Sirius/XM service and they need to add your car to your account. It costs extra for every device you add to you account.. Or if you have it on your phone, you can do what SRoldan did.
