Dyno tunes will always be a more accurate and custom way of tuning a vehicle opposed to buying a tuner from say, american muscle, and having them put tunes on it before they ship it to u. However, not everyone (me included) has access to a dyno tuner very close. dyno tuning usually costs more than a tuner also.

I got a tuner from american muscle with tunes installed on it and i have never had a problem with my car. its fast, pulls hard, and runs just fine. just my 2 cents

What's the average price of a tuner with tunes installed on it with my experience tuning a car usually costs about $800 but I've been dealing with euro cars this is my first American v8

Actually not on the 2011 up cars. Dyno tuning is a thing of the past. Data logging a tune on the street is now the way to go.

is this in any reference due to the fact that our cars now basically have a wideband from the factory?

Yea definitely go with a basic bolt-ons(exhaust, cold-air intake, intake manifold etc...) and then a tune to get some more power out of the engine with out going the boost route.
