What size are your stock wheels? Wheel width will determine what tire size choices you have.
AS's still suck in snow but if you're looking for something that can at least handle cold weather without getting so hard you can't handle even on dry pavement, then most any AS will work. Just be aware that you won't be doing much, if any, hard driving.

I run Blizzaks and they are amazing...they should offer your size. Premier Performance off Redwood will price match. They might even have a set of take off 19" GT wheels you can buy cheap that should clear your brakes. Whatever you do, don't drive on any snow with summer tires, even a dusting. That last March storm caught me off guard and I did a 360* spin @ 5mph on my Nittos. Also all-seasons are sketchy in winter on an '07 GT and would probably be terrifying on your car.
I have a second set of wheels for my Blizzaks...it was $$$ but the ability to switch anytime I want as well as not beat up my nice summer wheels swapping tires pays for itself.

Second set with true snow tires (if you're going to encounter snow) is the only way to go...
Also, as others have mentioned... there is really no performance driving in the winter for a mustang... slow and steady... (the way everyone should drive in poor conditions)...

Yep.
I live in Houston, where it snows about once every decade.
I have 2011 GT500 wheels (and tires) on my GT, and even with no snow, if the temp is under about 50 degrees, my car is useless. The tires get too hard to drive safely. I spin just cruising through my neighborhood at 25-30mph.
It's kinda a PITA, really. I wouldn't mind a decent all season. Probably will explore that route as well when it comes time for new tires.
