Default I'm back, bought a 2013 Mustang GT today

Bought a 2013 Mustang GT today with functional shaker scoop & Corsa exhaust & Ford certified to boot. My mod list is growing by the minute. I must resist.

Nice car! Glad I saw this post, I'm getting ready to install a shaker hood scoop on my 2014 GT. I already bought the kit and have the scoop sitting on the car now but have yet to cut the hole as I want to put stripes on first. Can you post some more photos??

Welcome and congratulations!! Always great to see a car off the lot like this and like redfire said this honestly has to be the 2nd 10+ I've seen with the shaker! Nice work!

It's a Ford certified used car purchased new 14 months ago. I don't know who installed the shaker scoop & Corsa exhaust but Ford certified it with them installed so I have full warranty + 1 extra year added to the bumper to bumper warranty even with these aftermarket parts.

My main gripe with the new 5.0 has been its weak low end power for daily driving. Above 4,000 rpms the 5.0 pulls hard up to redline. With the setup that my 2013 Mustang came with the low end is much improved and very smooth power. I'm used to driving a Challenger SRT8(6.1L), Camaro SS/RS(6.2L) & currently the new Chevy SS(6.2L) sedan so abundant low end torque is a big deal to me.

High on my list of upgrades will be to get rid of the crappy front brakes & replace them with the 15" 6 piston Brembos from the 13-14 GT500. My other cars listed above all came with Brembo brakes.

My wife & I have owner several Mustangs over the years & are looking forward to playing with this one.

You didn't happen to take your Chevy SS to a Cars and Coffee last Saturday did you? Black?

Not me but there is another black SS that drives by my house. With only 2,000 of these on the streets to see one pass my house I had to look in my garage to make sure it wasn't mine. It even had the Chevy bowtie carbon fibered like mine. The SS is an impressive car & sounds awesome.

Yeah I'm definitely considering a 2015 when it comes out. I really miss having a fast but comfy 4-door sedan. May have to hit you up for a ride sometime since I'm only 25-30 mins away or so . . .
