FRPP TracKey!

FRPP TracKey!
It was a little bit of a frustration this morning...
I had an 0800 appointment with a local dealership to have my TracKey installed on my 2014 Mustang; an operation that shouldn't have taken more than an hour and a half. I got there early, and they took my car back around 0740.
Well, around 1120, the service rep came out and told me that the tech can't figure it out. He went on to explain that it appears the "tune" downloaded to the car, but when the key is in the ignition, the car wont start. He said that FRPP is closed on weekends and I'd have to bring the car back on a weekday so they could call FRPP and get it all figured out.
On the way out of the dealership, I paused and tried restarting the car with the TracKey, and sure enough, it wouldn't start. The icon of the car with the lock over it was flashing on the instrument cluster.
When I got home, I started looking up some stuff on PATS (Passive Anti-Theft System). I found some instructions on how to program a PATS key myself, and took the TrackKey out and tried it. Sure enough, the car started off the TracKey for me!
So I took the car back to the dealership and spoke with the service rep and tech, and told them I programmed the key for PATS, and the car runs off the key now, and that the TracKey function may now need to be activated for this key if the "tune" was indeed on the PCM.
Sure enough, once the key was programmed for PATS and then the TracKey function box was ticked on the laptop, TracKey functions worked!!!!
I am kinda of relieved it all worked out. I haven't really had the chance to really drive the car all that much with the TracKey functions activated, but the loopey idle functions sounds and feels great!
Here is a quick video. I'm sorry it's not that great, but it will give you an idea of how it sounds.

I'm glad you got it working! even if it was a headache!
I'm tempted to get the track key myself... these videos aren't helping my wallet
Let us know what you think once you have some more experience with it.
