My state laws say no tint on any lights, and I have dark tint on my taillights (probably 20% or so). I've been directly in front of cops and not been pulled over, but my third brake light is not tinted at all so maybe that makes a difference, I dunno.

I have checked them at night and they're plenty visible especially with the brake lights on.

I ran the raxiom tinted tails from AM for years. They are fine. No worries about a lack of brake light.

Thats a snow shovel in the garage.".....Dayum! We don't have those in my town. Lol

Has anyone tried these 05-09 raxiom smoked tail lights? They are the 149$ ones at AM. I talked to some people and some say they got pilled over everyday and others said they don't really diminish much light but look really nice.

I ran the Raxiom Smoked Tails on my car for over a year without ever getting hassled. In fact, I was pulled over once and he didn't even mention anything about it. They are practically dark red and look factory because of the reverse light not being touched.

You will not get harassed.
