Talking Winter tires from my 99/2000 mustang on my 2014

Hello everyone

Winter is coming up soon and I left it for the last minute again, I am going to put on my winter tires on monday or tuesday.

I had them for my 99/2000 mustang GT I had before, I purchased them back in 2009 and fit perfectly on my old mustang. I was just wondering if it would fit on my new mustang I have now (2014). Anyone know if there would be any fitment issues? They are 205/60R/15 are Sears Ice and Snow tires, thanks!

Danger, Will Robinson.

What is the manufacture date? We know they are at least 5 years old.

Yes those rims will fit. however, because of the offset difference they will stick out beyond your fenders. Also, those sound like the v6 rims and will probably just spin due to being so narrow.

15's are too small. They wont fit over the calipers, regardless of the offset.

Nooooooo I shouldn't have left it for the last minute. I assumed since the 99 and up had the same bolt pattern it would fit!

Anyone know if the stock Michelin energysaver P215/65R/17 tires will work well in the snow in Canada here?

I believe the Energy Savers are Summer only. In which case, please make sure your life insurance paperwork is in order if you attempt to use them in winter conditions.

Lol thanks cruisin, would 16inch rims fit over the calipers? I also have my moms 2001 taurus winter wheels/tires I can put on my car. They are 215/65R/16

Is there a reason why you don't want to buy actual Winter tires? It would be money well spent where you live. Swap them out with Summer tires / All Season tires once it warms up in the Spring. Both sets of tires last much longer that way than just one set of tires. Plus, this would save you from having rims and tires that look way out of place on your car.

You will need to reflash your car's computer with your new tire size if you go the route of a different sized tyre.

I'm going to pick up a set of these, they seem to have really good reviews and last a long time! Does anyone know if the stock rims rust easily? Just in case I want too trade in the car later on.
