Cervini's Type IV Ram Air Hood here too on my 08. The engine does get wet in the rain so there are a few water spots to deal with. Never had any puddles as I suspect the under hood temperature evaporates the water almost as fast as it comes in. Not sure if the openings create more drag or not, but I am convinced they lower the IAT quicker when you move away from a stop in traffic.
