pass on the extended, I have owned dozens of brand new cars and never had any warranty on any of them, not a one.

Add up all those $1500-$1800 a pop extended warranties and I would have already paid for another new car.

The first year of the body styles are when they always have problems. I had 2005 GT convertible and that was the first year of the old school looking Mustangs. The convertible top started leaking. I took it to a convertible shop and he told me that I can spend $3k to replace the top and still couldn't promise me that it wouldn't leak. When it would rain the back seat would fill up with water and I would hear water sluth around under the seat it was bad. So with that said I would get the extended warranty. The last two stangs I bought I went to National Repair Solutions they specialized in Ford Mustang extended warranties. Hope that helps!
