2014 MT82 with 14k miles warranty VOIDED, dealer extorting me for $2k in fees

Something sounds fishy with this.
Dealership says they will warranty it
Dealership says ford won't, nothing in writing and no call from dealer immediately
Dealer requires $2000 to get car back
Dealership then allows car to go for $275
Nothing showing warranty denied
First call from ford to OP that is posted says ford says no to anything
Now ford is covering all dealer cost for diagnosis to this point
OP, to our knowledge still hasn't received anything on paper making it official

FWIW - A couple cars ago I had transmission issues which required a replacement. I was sucked into a "free" diagnostic. Turns out, it was only free if I had the transmission worked on at their shop. Good luck with your 'Stang bro.
Also, I work in the IT department for a large Insurance company. A couple weeks back we were having major issues with our call routing system where, at random, you would be dumped into an over-flow queue where you would wait an eternity to speak with an agent. You would not believe the power of a tweet. We had 1 dissatisfied customer who was on hold for over 60 minutes. His tweet went all the way up the ladder to our CTO which then came down the ladder to my pager and sh#t got done.
You have nothing to loose my friend. Post your displeasure about your experience on Social Media Deysha's signature has the handles you should tweet too, or however the hell tweeting works.

I just got the car back with parts and everything. The clutch is totally clean, had a few mechanic people look at it and its totally normal wear for 14k miles.
Ill attach photos when I get home.
The 2nd gear sychro and 2nd gear engagement ring (not sure of actual name of this) are absolutely shredded to pieces. Makes sense based off the symptoms I was having.

The only work they had done at that point was worth 275, but he didn't originally ask for that. He asked what it would cost to drive the car out, plainly in his post
Comp'ing 275 dollars is absolutely nothing to Ford, considering the holidays, they would have had a worse time had they not comp'd it.
I asked him if he can put everything back together the way I brought it in because it worked alright when I physically drove it to the dealership and dropped it off. He told me the vehicle was "dangerous to operate in this manor", and if I wanted it put back together, which he said may not even be possible in the first place, I would need to pay the labor charges associated with that.
Yeah I am totally lost.

I feel like if you had paid the 2,000 dollars, you would have been home free. That probably included replacing the 2nd gear synchro and gear. Yeah, $6000 would have been the "proper" route, but I think the other route would have been just fine.

While the Colorado state limit for small claims is decently high, at 7,500 dollars, Ford would never leave it to small claims.
If they get served with a summons for small claims court, they will have it moved into Civil court and bring lawyers, and do everything they can to raise the cost as much as they can.
Someone has already posted the procedure for taking to the next step.
Call the Better Business Bureau's Auto Line, and they'll get mediation involved.

I agree with many others that something sounds fishy here. This just doesn't add up - the damange nor Ford / Dealer's actions.
OP, I hope you have been honest as you have stated. And I hope you can get some sort of resolution. As has been said, beware of "free estimates."

The 2000 dollar quote was to put the car back together in a drivable condition. That easily makes sense.

You hadn't mentioned anything about the clutch being damaged, so I don't understand why it would have been anything other than pristine.

I apologize that I forgot the whole clutch thing. The initial reason they told me the warranty was voided was because the clutch had significant wear equivalent to a vehicle that had about 50,000 miles and thus that = racing and thats how they were making (in part) their determination of abuse.
I don't see why it would have been expected of me to pay any money, now that I've seen the transmission and that there is no damage other than to the gear sychro like they originally told me... I just feel like I've been shafted by ford completely.

It looks to me like there are some light heat spots on the pressure plate but I was assured that was normal and that more significant heat spots could be present if the clutch was actually abused.

Here's the page of out of the Owners Manual
Your satisfaction is important to Ford Motor Company and to your dealer.
If a warranty concern has not been resolved using the three-step
procedure outlined on the first page of the Customer Assistance section,
you may be eligible to participate in the BBB AUTO LINE program.
The BBB AUTO LINE program consists of two parts — mediation and
arbitration. During mediation, a representative of the BBB will contact
both you and Ford Motor Company to explore options for settlement of
the claim. If an agreement is not reached during mediation and your
claim is eligible, you may participate in the arbitration process. An
arbitration hearing will be scheduled so that you can present your case
in an informal setting before an impartial person. The arbitrator will
consider the testimony provided and make a decision after the hearing.
You are not bound by the decision, but should you choose to accept the
BBB AUTO LINE decision, Ford must abide by the accepted decision as
well. Disputes submitted to the BBB AUTO LINE program are usually
decided within forty days after you file your claim with the BBB.
BBB AUTO LINE Application: Using the information provided below,
please call or write to request a program application. You will be asked
for your name and address, general information about your new vehicle,
information about your warranty concerns, and any steps you have
