Short shifter, which is best?
#21
I purchased a used MGW off CL for 120$ a year ago. steal of the decade haha. its night and day different from stock and so much crisper and precise. I couldn't imagine wasting money on any other shifter with the posts ive read of other brands. MGW is by far the best and infinitely adjustable.

I have an MGW and I love it. The problem with asking about which one is best is that most people have not tried more than one, so they can't say with any reliability that it's "the best". At the end of the day you're just going to have to make a decision and stick with it. I'm sure you'll be happy with any of the ones listed here.

The consensus is the mgw is the best. I've had the hurst in mine for 5 years and love it. Super short, notchy but whatever. The mgw is adjustable which is cool however it's twice the price and to me being adjustable I would never be happy cause I would constantly change it weekly hahaha but that's just me. Throw the hurst in and your good. It's the best looking also. (Which is half the reason I went with it over the others )

I'm surprised your Hurst has made it 5 years AND you're still happy. The bottom dust seal was completely destroyed on mine after 2 years, and by 3 years it was rattling and had a bunch of slop in the pivot ball.
The Tri-Ax will take some getting used to but I'm glad I made the switch.
