Default Wheel Buyers '13 '14 Beaware

Just thought everyone should know about trouble I ran into on my new wheels.
Had to Return to Seller !
Why?
Seems the boss on the Hub of the '13 & '14 mustangs is slightly larger & the locating bore of the new wheel may not fit over it !
So you might want to ask your seller if the wheels you're wanting to buy will fit the newer cars !!
Just a FYI
Would Love to hear from others.

Stated right in AM's add that they were for '05 - '14
So if it's stated as right ones, would you still question it ????

Andy & '05 Mustang, they were from AM & they were Sallen Wheel style..

AM has been pretty great working with me, a different style is on the way now along with new TPMS's, my new Michelons are in the back of my truck !

FYI, did you guys know the TPMS's are 1 install only, had to ship 1st set back to them with the TPMS's installed in the wheels that wouldn't mount to our 'Stang.. I'm learning more all the time !!

Checking your spelling is easy...

Anyway, I was not aware of this. I know some hubs are just really tight and it helps to bolt the wheel on to pull the wheel onto the hub. Have you found any info that says the Boss has different hub sizes ?

Well, at least knowing they were from AmericanMuscle, you can be assured that they WILL make it right. They are the best company to do business with!

I'm surprised to hear you say this. A friend of mine that just had a set of VOSSENS installed on his car last week reused the TPMS sensors from his stock wheels without any problem.

+1 for AM making it right. Their support is top notch.

I've never heard of anyone having a problem transferring the OEM TPMS to a new wheel.

I bought AM wheels when I first got my 13' back in late 2012. Had the same problem with them fitting over the hubs, but the clearance difference was minimal (the hubs would barely start to go into the holes but got hung up). The manager at my local Tire Barn told me I could return the rims, he could try to grind the rims a little, or try to grind the hubs a little. I called AM from there an they told me I could return the rims, but also thought it would be OK allowing him to grind a little on the hubs. Grinding the hubs worked like a charm. He only ground around the outside edge on each one for less than a minute and the wheels slid right on with no issues for the past 2 years. I think they were just never ground or finished off when they were made and before they were put on the car. AM told me they were "taking note of my issue" since back then the 13's were only out for a little while and they hadn't encountered this issue.
