GT500 Exhaust on 2011 V6?
Its been a month since i bought my mustang 2011 v6 and im loving it. But im planning on changing my stock exhaust. I just want a deep sound with no drone and no popping. Is it possible to get that kind of sound with GT500 axleback exhaust? i know that it needs to be welded to fit my muffler tubes. Is it worth it? my budget is no more than 350$. I also have the Airaid cai.

You'd be better off buying a used set. I got my set of Borla S-types for like $250 used. Which is great considering they're more than $600 new.
Just look around for some deals on a used pair. The mods required to fit the gt500s is going to exceed your budget

You won't get the deep V8 sound with your sixer, so I'd encourage you to have realistic expectations.
Exhaust designed for a V8 but put on your V6 will sound like a pissed off bumble bee, so stick with the products made for the V6 - those aren't as bad. Personally, if I had a V6 Mustang I would stick with the stock exhaust and put my money elsewhere.

Glad you don't have a v6 mustang because you don't know what you're talking about.

I like the sound of the Borla s type, but i prefer to get the Borla touring. I will try to find a used set. Anyway thanks man

Touring are a lot harder to find used than the s-types. I searched for months before I pulled the trigger on the s-types. I was torn between the two because I didn't want it to sound like nails in a blender. But I also didn't want it too quiet. I'm glad I went with the s-types because I think the touring would've been to subtle for my taste. Good luck in your search!

Doesn't sound half bad actually.
The guy from that video took the inlet pipes off his stock mufflers then weld them onto the GT500s. If you have the tools/experience to do this yourself, it can probably be done within your budget.
