Glad you don't have a v6 mustang because you don't know what you're talking about.
OP said "deeper" which is V8 territory. I've heard plenty of sixers with aftermarket exhaust - not a single one sounds good to me.

There's no need to be so defensive about your V6.

I don't have a V6 Mustang, but I had a V6 Camaro for a few years so I understand kind of what you're looking for. I found aftermarket axle backs that made the car sound better but added a butt load of drone. I looked at putting a J-pipe on to reduce the drone but traded it in on a different daily driver. After a year I really wished I had stayed stock.

As a person who has tried making a V6 sound better - I'm of the opinion it's better to stay stock. But my opinion is worth exactly what you paid for it - nothing! :-)

We did a straight pipe on my daughters 2010 V6. She wanted louder and deeper but the problem with the V6 exhaust is it sounds like a Honda no matter what exhaust you use. And before anyone gets upset, I daily drive a 2012 V6. I just think there is better places to put your mod money then trying to exchange one bad sounding exhaust for another.

the characteristic sound of an engine is determined by the cylinder layout and firing pattern. The "deep" burble of a V8 is due to the crossplane configuration and its inherent irregular firing pattern. A V6 sounds like a V6 and will always sound like a V6. You can make it louder with exhaust mods, and tailor the sound (raspy vs. mellow, etc.) but you aren't going to get any kind of deeper sound.

Again, you are delusional.

No one has mentioned having the sound of a v8 besides you.

If that doesn't sound deeper to you over stock.. you are an idiot.

LOL...that sounds like a angry Honda. I stand by my statements. Perhaps the issue at hand is that you have not heard a V8? My stock 2013 GT sounds far superior to that.

I'll say it again, I am not bashing the V6s. I can tell that some of you are getting all defensive over your V6s. What I am saying is that the V6s will never have that deep sound like a V8 and that I have never had a V6 with an aftermarket exhaust that didn't sound horrible at high RPMs.

Didn't realize I was talking to two idiots instead of one. Sorry. I guess we will agree to disagree. I'm done wasting my time.
