Apparently the issue at hand is you live in a fantasy land that's all about you and are too afraid to come out in the real world and open your eyes, or ears, to other possibilities.

Apparently you've never heard a high revving v8 before. And I'm not talking 6-7k rpms. It doesn't matter how many cylinders an engine has it will always end up sounding like a swarm of bees.

Keep it on topic guys, I don't have time to clean this thread right now.

And cruisin --- knock it off, can you post anything without getting into an argument?

Why is it so hard to discuss such topic without getting into an argument? Everyone got a taste. I feel like some v8 owners get offended if someone said he want to have a better sound on a v6? No one is saying we want a v6 to sound like a v8. We should respect each other guys. In the end its a ford mustang not a honda

Mustangpower90,
I'm running dual GTM's with the Pypes X pipe and I like the sound.
The GT Manual trans mufflers were quiet but have gotten a little louder over time.
They are still pretty quiet though, but they have a little rumble at idle.
They don't sound like a bunch of bee's at WOT. They stay pretty quiet at WOT.
A lot of folks will say an H pipe will make it a deeper tone.
I didn't want it loud, so I went with the GTM's.
I understand the GTA's are quieter than the GTM's.
I posted for a pair of GTA's in the Parts to Buy section with no responses.
If I ever find a pair of GTA's I will purchase them.

Are GTA mufflers that hard to find? I think I have an unused pair in my basement...

Here's mine when I had a set of ATAKs on it:

Also has bbk shorties and frpp x-pipe

Sounds pretty deep to me..

It was extremely loud and obnoxious at higher RPMs and it was hard to hold a conversation or talk on the phone with Sync so I traded for some s-types. Calmed it down and sounds a lot better IMO. I'd take a video of my current setup, but she's in storage for the winter

Wow, that actually sounds better than a lot of V8s. Good choice bro!

As yourmom6990 mentioned about a dozen times now, deeper sound != V8 sound. You're totally capable of getting a deeper sound out of a V6 exhaust, and it doesn't even sound like an "angry Honda." This really didn't need to turn into the billionth V6 vs V8 discussion, but trolls 'gonna troll.

Thank you. Some bold headed v8 bigots think you can't get 6 bangers to sound "deep". But you can. Which was my point all along. I've done my share of research when it comes to exhaust setups, especially on these 3.7s. I always get asked if it's a v8 haha. I've had GTs and a Cobra in the past. They were great and all, but it's a lot more fun when you see the look on peoples faces when I tell them its a v6.

You should've seen the look on the middle aged mans face as I pulled on him while he was playing in his 3V GT. Muahahaha! Don't underestimate these 6 bangers

LOL deeper is the difference between base and baritone. It's just a way to describe sound and has absolutely nothing to do with the number of cylinders a car had! My old SRT-4 was deeper sounding than a lot of v8s.
