I disagree. I check my tire pressure once a month, while the TPMS checks the pressure almost continuously.

With the condition of the roads around here, it's sometimes difficult to tell what is going on. Sometimes it feels as though my suspension is about to fall apart. Then I get on a smooth stretch of road, and everything feels just fine. Also, these cars are built for the mass market, not just for expert drivers.

I totally agree, more government intrusion that costs every taxpayer money.. punish everyone for the ignorance of the few mentality, it is stupid and completely out of control.

It's only $199 for the kit including the programmer from american muscle, they rarely malfunction, although they do have a lifespan of around 6-8 years, & you can find a tire store that will remount all tires for $40-$60, not that big of a deal.

But if the light on the dash bothers you why not take out the gauge cluster, peal back the face/sticker and put down some black electrical tape over the led for the TPMS warning?

Did you ever state what year your car was? Is it in your signature so we know? That's right you failed to put one up. Important info you left out of this thread.

Regardless do a search on ebay, they're there.

I have a TPMS sensor on my car which went bad after less than one year of use. I just ordered $8,000 worth of wheels and tires and I requested metal valve stems because if I have to do the whole "reset" thing every time I drive the car even though I have all four TPMS sensors which were programmed properly (and worked for about 11 months), I might as well just run the metal stems which are required for HPDEs anyway.

The yellow light bugs me, but the yellow traction control light is always on too, so whatever.
