go to www.frostfighter.com and you can order a kit to repair it. That kit worked better than any of the attempts that the dealer made at it.

I surface solder at work from time to time and I think you'd have a hell of a time doing even a marginal job on this. It's a terrible location, it's a gigantic heat sink and it's on a fragile material.
But that's just me.

I just used the Frost Fighter kit on Saturday. I also used a new tab that I got from them. Very easy to do, just clean the window, tape off a square around where the original tab attached, sand the square lightly, apply the epoxy in the square and to the tab, and put the tab on. I did the heat cure which is leave it alone for 10 minutes and then heat it with a hair dryer on high for another 20 min. Today was the first real chance to test it and it works great.
