2013 gt door won't unlock

Yeah it's cold. It dropped 30 degrees yesterday. I thought that was it at first but it only sat in that spot for about 15 minutes before this all happened. I even put some of that lock de-icer in there.

It warmed up to 1 today here in Wisconsin, headed back down to -9 tonite. No troubles with the locks here yet, but my 2012 is in the garage at night, the ' 13 F150 sits in the driveway. We had drissle, wind and a freeze Sat night, good combo for frozen locks. We had lots of slick roads and plenty of wrecks this morning.

I have had this happen to me twice in the last few months. Key fob doesn't work, but when I put it in the ignition and turn it on, the key fob does work from that point on....... till the next time. My key does unlock my door so not too worried about it.

Not yet. I got rear ended a few weeks ago and it was supposed to go to the body shop the day after it wouldn't unlock. When I got the door open, I went ahead and took it to the body shop. The plan was to take it to the dealer when it was done because it's only a 3 day job. Now the shop can't find a bumper cover for it, so there it sits. This is my 4th mustang I've never had one that's been such a pain before.
