2013 gt door won't unlock
#3
Nothing about reprogramming the fob. I'm more concerned about the lock not turning. I went ahead and sprayed some lock de-icer and pb blaster in there just in case, but it didn't work. Could it be a dead battery and the lock cylinder is electronic?

Yes to both. If the battery is dead or has been disconnected, you still can't unlock the doors even with the key. You should be able to unlock the trunk with the key but that won't help you gain entry to the car unless you have the rear seat folded down. Otherwise your only choice will be to call an approved locksmith to break into the car using "specialist tools".

That's weird that the key wouldn't turn the cylinder then would. Any chance you grabbed the wrong set of keys?
I grabbed the keys to my 2000 by mistake to get in the 2008 once. the key fit but dint turn the trunk cylinder.

Nope. The other car I have is an old grand am. Completely different key style. I'm sure this car is cursed so I'm chalking it up to bad luck. It goes to the dealership Monday to have the lock actuator and electrical system checked.
