2013 5.0 Brembo Brakes
#11
I am a big fan of Hawk, used them for racing, track days, and high performance street cars. I would go with the HPS pad for good all around performance. EBC red is a ceramic compound with low dust, low noise, great for a daily driver. The yellow compound is more like the HPS pad. One caution about ceramic pads in my experience is that they produce a harder pedal in that they don't grab as hard initially. But they work real well and produce little dust. No matter which pad you choose, you should consider new rotors or at least have your current ones turned to get the old pad material off. If you don't, you are wasting your time for an extra $20 for turning.
I was at the Ford dealership and was getting some things looked at last week, they told me there was 5mm left of the fronts and 8mm left on the rear. So I don't know how long that gives me, I do not want to go 'metal to metal' and let it just run out of pad altogether.

Correct, the Brembos on my 2014 GT are the same as the Brembos that you would have as long as your car came from the factory with them!
The part #s are as follows -
53048- Front Pads
53033- Rear Pads
They are both available on our site and the manufacturers numbers will be listed there also!
Hope this helps!

I doubt that you've used up any more than 10mm off your front pads, and that's taken you 46k miles. You should have at least another 5k miles left in the fronts, even if they start wearing more rapidly than they have averaged to date. I'm assuming that 1/8" (3mm) is the thinnest that you should ever run them down to.
