I will start the snake once a week just for the battery to charge but I usually get to take it out about every 2 weeks. Otherwise the head unit and radar drain it and I usually forget to unplug those. Never had any problems with that. The 'vert gets driven about the same but doesnt need the periodic battery charging. Yeah, I know I should put a trickle on the snake, but Im fuggin lazy.

Seeing the workin winter stangs though kinda makes me want to sell the pickup and buy a v6, slap some blizzaks on it and go to town. They do pretty good in the snow with the right tires.

Some schools of thought indicate putting car on jackstands not good for it, unloading suspension and wheels hanging. Who knows though, like oil chsnges, ask 10 people, get 10 differing opinions.

FWIW since 2004 been changing oil, park car in garage, fuel stabilizer, and then just let it sit untouched for 5 months for the 'summer cars'. Never an issue, minimal effort.

I drive my car minimally during the winter, but I try not to let it sit for more than two weeks or so w/o driving it. If the roads are dry and clear (e.g. no snow or wet salt) then I fire her up and go for a long cruise on the freeway.
