does anyone know where this sound is coming from, it sounds either its sucking air or hissing sound that seems to get loud when ever i press on the gas. i can hear it louder if i was driving next to a car on the passenger side but nothing on the driver side. i made a video of it on idle.
p.s this is all stock except for a bbk catted x pipe
the sound is all in the background, not the ticking sound from the belt but the constant hissing or sucking sound. it was not there before kinda of annoying.
Did you put the stock intake back on or are you still using the Steeda CAI?
its all stock, i have the stock intake in there. i thought at first is was the steeda cai that was making that noise but when i put everything in stock it's still there.
Yeah, they can do it, it helps if you can point out the problem area, because sometimes they just come back and say it's normal.
thanks brother, i wanted to try to fix it my self and I've seen people do a vacuum leak test on youtube using carburetor or brake cleaner and some uses smoke method to find the leak. i want to go with the smoke method since it seem to be the safest way, but my problem is i don't know where to find the right vacuum hose to begin with.
