Default Exhaust Opinions

I have the Mac pro chamber crossover and currently the stock mufflers, and I've been told my car is "to quiet for a mustang".
How do ya'll think it will sound when I change the stock axle backs over to some pype bombs?

Awful, especially if you don't have cats. That's going from one extreme to the other. If you have cats it might not be unbearable.

FWIW I had a pro chamber on my car for a short while and I noticed it's a little quieter than an equivalent H pipe or X pipe especially at idle. I'd go for something just a mite tamer than pype bombs.

I do have cats, as its illegal here to tamper with a functioning catalytic converter.
and well gotta pass the emissions test (and if you don't have them then the tester person will smell it.)

Gotcha. Are they factory cats, then, or high flow? If they're factory cats you should be fine with Pype Bombs. If they're high flows you might need to go with something a touch more subtle.

I had high flow cats on my pro chamber and with Hooker Aerochambers on the car, it was as quiet at idle as stock mufflers with factory cats. Higher RPM's were louder but still not as loud as the high flow catted X or H pipe I had on the car (with the same cats).

Stock cats, as they haven't failed its technically illegal to do anything to the cats here. (that includes replacing them with high flows)
Though some out that will claim they failed and replace them since the laws don't require proof that they failed.

Here is what you want to hear, on a 2010 GT. Sounds damn good to me. Looks to be the same setup as you have.
