Default Pypes X-pipe clearance issue with BMR driveshaft safety loop?

Hey guys,

I bought a Pypes X-pipe and I was going to install it but discovered a potential clearance issue with my BMR driveshaft safety loop. I haven't made any cuts in my stock H-pipe. I placed the X-pipe up against my stock H-pipe and from the picture it appears that the X starts too early and might hit the loop. What do you think? If it will hit then is there another X-pipe that will work with the safety loop? Thanks!

Hey 2007calspec, long time no see!

The X-pipe won't work with your driveshaft safety loop. I suggest removing the BMR loop and going with the Metco loop. The Metco piece should give you enough clearance. Hope this helps!

Cool thanks man! I'll look into the Metco loop. For now I'll just leave the BMR loop off the car and maybe sell it.

BMR driveshaft safety loop was removed (check), Pypes X-pipe was installed (check), big grin for new exhaust sound (check), bigger grin for extra horsepower (check).

LOL...I had to answer my own post after doing some research since no one replied.

I'll be selling my BMR driveshaft loop and getting the Metco loop soon.
