Default Help! Stock Sway Bar Bushing Removal?

12' GT. I haven't upgraded my front sway bar yet and the original bushings are bad at 50k miles. Drives me crazy over sewer lids etc. Dealer takes to long and keeps changing my control arms just because thats the TSB so I want to just change them myself. Already got a good new set for $12 but when I went to take the old ones off it seems they are built into the stock bar??

I know there are slits in them but it looked like the stock bracket has metal tabs bent over the bushings so you cant get them off?

I would bend the tabs out of the way. If that's not possible lube it up with WD40 and they should slide off with a little effort.
