And they will empty your pockets with a smile. If dealers were affordable you wouldn't be trolling the inter web trying to drum up business.

Any shop will empty your pockets with smile.

The Ford reps actually do some good here sometimes, so you might want to slow your roll a bit.

i see more posts here from people who went to some shade tree and paid good money to get a car back with a problem that didnt get fixed. there are good dealers and bad, just like good independent shops and bad, the difference is you have to be trained by ford to be a ford master technician, you dont have to be trained by anybody to work at "sneaky petes auto repair and discount carpet cleaners" and the old saying hold true, you get what you pay for.

We're here to help, artsvettes73. Pricing information at the dealership is out of my scope; therefore, I can't really comment on that. However, local dealers are Ford-Certified Technicians and in the best position to assist with diagnosis and part information.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.

My 2011 GT also has a rattle coming from the rear and is especially noticeable when driving over small bumps. So far, I have been unable to locate the source of the rattle. Car only has 27K miles.
