Default Used Whipple fit??

I have an 09 GT with an MMR longblock and i need to know if a 2.3l whipple from a 06-07 gt will fit my car? Any advise as to what i may need to adapt to my engine or if it will be a smooth install without any supporting parts.

if the whipple kit is from an 07, it may work fine. if the kit is from an 06, the coolant crossover piece and the thermostat location will need some reworking.

^^^this
If your buying a used kit, make sure the oil is clear, snout spins freely, and that there is no oil residue near the pulley. If your not getting the fuel system then a BAP should be fine and make sure you get a good tune.

i already have an upgraded fuel system from the motor build and nitrous kit, i will be getting a dyno tune after install, sprry my build list in my signature is not very complete. The used kit i am buying was completely overhauled and the guy has taken care of it meticulously. Here is what i am getting.

Original box the Whipple shipped to me in
Whipple Install Manual (blower and 10 rib)
Whipple 2.3L Blower air/water Intercooled
Whipple intake manifold
Whipple crossover cooling tube (2007+ cars) +
Whipple Cold Air Kit
S&B Air Filter (new March 2015 and is cleanable)
Whipple Heat Exchanger
Whipple Intercooler Reservoir
Whipple Intercooler Pump Mounting Bracket
Reische 170* Thermostat
Ford Racing 62mm Throttle Body
Whipple 10 Rib Dedicated Belt Drive System (includes the Whipple extended snout already on the blower)
10 rib kit includes a 7" crank pulley (~15.5# on my car) and a 6.5" crank pulley (~14# on my car).

wow, nicely done! sounds like you are getting a great kit!

only thing i did not see on your list, is the intercooler pump itself. i am pretty sure you just did not list it.

welcome to the whipple club! keep good gas in the car and always run a safe tune!

Thank you. The guy I'm getting it from has a similar set up to me and is pushing 700+rwhp on E85 and running 10.1's at 130+, I am not going the E85 route just yet since this is my daily driver for now but he said i should be able to have a really lazy tune and get 600+ rwhp safely. It does not come with a pump so I am going to get that at time of install, I'm sure I will need a few more misc. items so I'm letting the shop get what they need when they have the car apart.

Still have yet to dyno it... I'd assume based on the "average" around 465rwhp give or take.... I want to take it to JPC but I need $700 for their dyno and road tune.... so yea..

using the 3.125" pulley, boost/vac pegs to 11 psi at WOT
