5.0 with 3.73 gears, gas mileage?
I recently bought a 2014 GT 6-speed with the 3.73 gears. The car is mostly stock other than that. It does have a K&N air filter and some sort of axleback exhaust, but that's it.
I'm hovering around 17.5 MPG right now, with about 50/50 city/highway driving. I'm wondering if that's normal for this setup. Anyone else with a 5.0 and 3.73s have any input?

My personal daily driver is a 2014 Track Pack 5.0 (3.73's). Full bolt ons and tuned and I get the exact same MPG as you to the dot! I hover around 17.5 half city and half highway.
If I baby the car, I have seen it average out to 19+ but as we all know, smiles per gallon are better than miles per gallon
Hope this helps.

I also have a 14 GT with the track pack and the TORSEN 3:73 gears, exhaust, intake, and tuned. i get between 14 and 15 mpg driving to work and back (7 miles rural) and on the freeway i average about 19-20.
Ive tried driving easier, shifting earlier, coasting more, but i still end up with the same mpg.
one time however i did hit 23MPG on a 200 mile trip with the cruise set at 70MPH

Sounds like you're right in there. I get 18 if I follow the shift points in the owner's manual. Actually I also deduct 10% from the recommended shift points to account for the difference between 3.31s and 3.73s.
I have almost the same setup, 14 GT track pack with K&N, GT500 axlebacks plus the Boss side exhaust. I also have the TracKey but I can only get 18 with the stock key. I'm about 50/50 city/highway but the highway is 55 speed limit.
BTW I only drove this carefully for one tank of gas to compare economy between the TracKey and the stock key. If I drive normally I'm looking closer to 17 with the stock key (about 15 with the TracKey for those curious).
Hope that helps!

I've tried to baby the car and save gas on a few occasions but it's not the same, I would rather get where I have to go with a smile on my face
That being said, for a 400+ RWHP v8, these Coyotes get great gas mileage!
