scroll down.

I wouldn't go blowing up your dealer's phone about it, chances are it's going to be a while before replacement inflators are available. wait until you receive notification.

Wtf is this ****.

My CRV was part of the recall too and its been at least three months since the dealer "ordered" parts. I had called a few times since and still on backorder. Chances are they will finally have enough parts for this new batch by November, maybe.

Yup, this sucks. Called my local dealer who stated they were waiting on the parts to repair the stang.

The email I received from NHTSA said the Ford recall was expected to begin July 13, 2015.

This recall has in fact been expanded, guys. We are working with our suppliers to expedite parts as quickly as possible, and we plan to begin notifying customers (in the North American region) by mail the week of July 13, 2015. Customers can check here for any recalls applicable to your vehicles. Also, stay in touch with your dealers if parts are not available to them at this time. You can also schedule an appointment online here.

As soon as I found out about our Hondas I jumped on it. Called the dealer and had a replacement part for each in a few days. Maybe I got lucky. That was a few months ago and the supplier had plenty of parts then, apparently. It was just a matter of shipping parts to the dealer. It may be different now with so many more cars being pulled into this.

well, keep in mind that Takata still has to supply production parts to the automakers' assembly plants. typically orders for service parts are a slim fraction of the quantity of production parts, not "we need 33 million replacement parts ASAP!"

this recall truly is unprecedented.

How up-to-date is that information? I clicked on the link and the result was that no recall was in effect for my VIN. It is a 2007 Mustang GT assembled September 8, 2006, at Flat Rock.

I checked my VIN and it says the recall date was Dec 18, 2014. Ford Recall Number: 14B09.

WTH! I never got a recall notice.
