You will probably be under the recall. It takes time to load over 1,000,000 VINs. Yesterday my Ford Owner page showed no recall. Today it does show the air bag recall. "Status: 12 - RECALL INCOMPLETE. REMEDY NOT YET AVAILABLE." I guess that means they don't have the part.

I called it. A few months ago when this starting ballooning I said Takata should be forced to do a blanket recall and stop *****-footing around with incremental adds. About time they were made to.

My 08 will need to go in for this...

I checked mine and it says driver's side...is that the only one that needs replacing?

I checked my VIN and under status it says "Status: 12 - RECALL INCOMPLETE. REMEDY NOT YET AVAILABLE."

Does this basically mean I need to wait for a recall notice?
