Default Different Tires Front/Rear Question

I have 8,000 on the OEM Pirellis on the Track Pack and the rear tires are pretty worn (fronts still have good bit of tread left). I was not thrilled with the grip on these tires and would like to try something else. What are your thoughts on running different tires on the rear and leaving the original P Zeros on the front? For Instance if I went with the Michelin Pilot Sports or a competition/street radial?

I do the occasional autocross and drag strip, so a good all around sticky tire is what I am after.

you will proll not notice any difference with different tires front vs rear, happens all the time. its really no different than running street drag radials and normal fronts
