Thanks, where did you get your information? Have you done this before?

So "Relay-Park Lamp" is the horizontal double light bars? Like this

im a ford tech, so i just looked in the service manual wiring diagrams, that pic is for an aftermarket headlamp. if you wire it as described it will come on with the park/marker lamps. if you want to see with what just turn on your park lamps and check it out

I have lights that are on even when I don't put the "park lamps" on.
Are those considered "running lights?"

Those are the wires I want to tap into. So that is still the white/violet and grey/black?

Thanks for the responses, I really appreciate it.

those lights also come on when the door is opened, the car is unlocked, etc. they arent referred to as "running lights" by ford, just park lamps, on the factory diagram they also have what they call cornering lamps, but they are led and will most likely not like the added draw, white and violet for + and grey and black for neg.

Yeah, don't draw from any circuit that runs LED lights. What you will get is either a diming/brightening of the LED's (they are very voltage sensitive) or a strobe effect. the only way to counter those issues is to then get a 12V voltage regulator in-line for the LED lights. At that point you are overcomplicating things.
