3.73 Gears with Auto Supercharged GT
Considering upgrading my gears on my 07 GT to 3.73s. Currently have an edelbrock SC installed and was thinking may give just a little more acceleration without being to overboard. I heard maybe a little to much for stick and better sticking with stock but was not sure about automatic. Just curious if anyone running anything similar what your opinion on streetability is.

I am currently preparing to bring my car to brenspeed for sc and 3:73 gears.... 2010 gt manual. Everyone i talked to said it is a perfect matchup. I currently have stock 3:31, and def want some ooomph. I would go with the 3:73 for sure. A big increase in low end and not much loss in top end. I personally feel like 4:10 would be hella fun, but may be little too much. Go for 3:73.....

3.73 is the best all around gear, it doesnt render 1st gear useless, and it gives enough low end perf. to make launching on the street alot of fun. also the mileage loss is minimal as cruising rpm's are not extreme. so i say its a no brainer.......do it!

Op, 3.73's are the best all around gear for a blower like yours. If you are interested, I have a set of FRPP 3.73's with about 700 miles and 3 passes on them. I wanted to try them and see if it helped my 60's, over the 3.27's I run. They didn't really help and didn't load my turbo's as well, so I pulled them out and went back to my 3.27's. Just shoot me a PM if you are interested.
